Reports and the dashboard

Updated October 2, 2026

The dashboard

Open, unassigned and overdue tickets right now; volume over the last 30 days; and breakdowns by status, category, site and priority. Administrators also see the Getting Beacon live panel during the first 90 days.

The Reports page

Reports (g r). Pick a range (7, 30, 90 days, a year, or your own dates) and, if you like, one site or team. The sections:

SectionWhat it shows
VolumeTickets created per day over the range.
By Category, By Site, By PriorityWhere the work comes from.
Agent PerformancePer technician: assigned, resolved, average first response and resolution times, SLA compliance, and the average rating requesters gave.
SLA CompliancePer priority: total, met, breached, and the percentage.

Exporting

The Tickets page's Export button writes the list you are looking at, with its filters, to CSV. The whole organization (people, sites, teams, categories, devices, tickets with comments, articles) exports as one JSON file from Admin › Settings › Your Data; see Security and data.

Devices

The Assets page carries counts by status, and the number of warranties ending in the next 90 days. Filter by type and site for a count per building.

A question instead of a report

For a number the page does not show (“how many Chromebook screen tickets did Lincoln have this month”), Ask Beacon answers in a sentence and a table.

Still stuck? Email hello@beaconhelpdesk.com. A person reads every message and answers within one business day. Beacon does not run sales calls; questions are answered by email.
